Acrylic, mixed media, clock motors, light reflective glass sand.
Details: There are segments of maps and architectural drawings, patterns with light reflective glass sand, and little ants on a trail heading towards a black hole. One clock motor ticks just the seconds (on top right) while the other tracks the minutes and hours. The clock hands are hard to read (see detail view). Yellow circles serve as a guide for where the numbers would be. This is all a casual affront on the preciseness that we've come to expect when thinking about our time.
Yes, this piece actually keeps the time....
