Creating Sticky Philosopher.com is an odd effort.  But it's less so when you realize this site presents "Thinking Art" inspired by the surreal* peculiarities of the human race.  We all vacillate between wisdom and tomfoolery, power and weakness, love and hate.  This site presents such juxtapositions through "high" and "lowbrow" art forms.

The StickyPhilosopher site presents ideas in the spirit of a snake oil salesman, art dealer and off beat merchant.  Hail to Andy Warhol who was the master at this effort.  Others have followed in Warhol's footsteps such as Claes Oldenburg (The Store), Keith Haring (Pop Shop), Takashi Murakami, KAWS and many more artists.  Of course, those artists have made the big  bucks.

Remember, nothing on this site is presented to intentionally offend.  But varying points of view are vital.  Imagine how dreary life would be if we all thought alike.  The lowbrow orientation of this website contrasts the ultra-polished marketing that blinds us from ourselves.

If something on this site gains your attention, tell your friends about it, and make comments in the guest book.  Of course, when something in here "speaks" with you, consider buying it.  And to fellow skeptics out there...Yep, you got it right!  This website was established as part of my "get rich quick" scheme.  So buy something now!

Artists and poets, at least the "99%" of us, don't get rich.  In the long run, we do what we need to do, just slower.  Along the way we offer moments that inspire, perplex, refresh, amuse... These bumper stickers are real, road tested and ready.  Are the thoughts expressed on this website real?  Who knows?
