Instructions On Writing A Poem

Develop relationships,
allowing them to migrate between
happy and sad, difficult and easy.
Accept some as off and on;  some just gone.

Daydream a bit
about these fluctuations.
Worry;  nurse an invisible bruise
or when necessary, smolder a little.

"Piddle away," some would say
a fragment of some day.
Choose a pen or pencil,
a permanent marker works in a pinch.

Write your words
and never flinch.
See, writing a poem
is such a cinch.
