Body Language
Make no assumptions
but don't make it complicated
find a way to get it done
Our distance from the sun changes
never the same but always repeated
though we won't always greet the morning
Stars beam light for an incomprehensible lifetime
knowing every generation seeks their wisdom
a knowledge that defies words
Words and phrases condense
our bodies become the universal language
courtesy is expressed with a pause
Up comes the sun again
off go my loved ones
I make no assumptions
I pause for a moment
my knowledge is confirmed
the heart gets it done
Off I go now
paced by the movement
of a beautiful sun.
