Details: Painted clock hands, acid free print mounted on board, archival ink, acrylic glaze, and light reflective glass sand. When light hits this piece just right it has a glow that is similar to road stripes under car headlights.
She only sets the alarm for 2am in mid-August. When it sounds I know it's time for our annual rendezvous with the Perseus meteor showers. We walk around the yard barefooted with our heads tilted towards the sky. "Did you see that one!" she asks. "Maybe so," I reply. But mainly I watch her.
