Details: Acrylic on wood panel, colored and lead pencil, four wiggly eyes, painted clock hands.
The old chair in this art has been in my studios since 1988. I bought it from a junk barn while living near a farming community in Western New York. This chair had been repaired numerous times prior to my finding it. I'm guessing the former owner had a simpler and harder life than mine and had to make things last. I sit in the chair and wonder where it will end up after being found in a junk store once I'm gone.
