I noticed this stone sea wall after taking a ferryboat from Capri to Napoli.  A mix of languages was spoken by all the tourists on that Italian ferry.  Regrettably, I'm mono-lingual so only portions of what I heard spoken on the boat made sense.  Is that why this clock is a little off on the arrangement of numbers on the dial?  Hang this clock somewhere as a reminder of how language influences the experiences and perceptions of travel.
